Introducing the Icon Grips. With so many great grip options currently on the market we knew our first offering in the space had to be something special. We tested as many grips as we could, took extensive notes, and then went to the drawing board to create what would ultimately become our favorite lock-on grip to date. Grips are sorta like underwear; everyone has a preference and no choice is better than the other. The Icon grip is the perfect blend of soft and grippy to cut down on arm fatigue and keep your hands glued to the bars when things get rough.

Grips are personal. We wanted ours soft, grippy and easy to keep riding. The Icon pairs the rubber we like with lock rings you can keep when it’s time for a fresh set.

Soft Rubber. A Familiar Hold.
Grips are personal. Some riders want more cushion, others want a smaller handful, and most of us know pretty quickly when a grip doesn’t feel right. The Icon starts with extra-soft Shore 20A rubber and a 31.5 mm diameter, the combination we wanted on our own bars.
The compound gives the grip its soft feel, while the tapered internal sleeve is part of the comfort-focused design underneath. Compare the diameter with what you already ride; a number is useful, but the feel in your hands is what matters.
One Clamp. A Clean Finish.
The Icon uses a single lock-on design with a tapered internal sleeve. One Tenet lock ring secures each grip, while an integrated rubber end cap finishes the outer end. It keeps the layout simple and leaves the outside of the grip covered in rubber.
The rings and grips are separate parts on purpose. You can choose their colors independently, and you don’t have to buy another set of rings every time the rubber needs replacing.
Buying Your First Set?
Start by choosing your grip color, then add a pair of Tenet Icon lock rings unless you already have a usable set. The grips are sold as a pair, but the grip-only price does not include the rings needed to secure them.
Keeping the two separate gives you a choice of combinations without making you buy hardware you already own. Before adding to cart, check that your selection includes both the grips and the rings you need for a complete first installation.
Fresh Rubber. Same Rings.
The part your hands wear through isn’t the part clamping the grip to the bar. When your Icon grips need replacing, keep your existing Tenet Icon lock rings if they’re still in good condition and order another pair of grips.
That’s why we offer the grip-only option: replace what’s worn, reuse what’s good, and spend less on the refresh. Check your rings and hardware before reusing them, and get in touch if you’re unsure which replacement parts you need.
