Made in our beloved state of Washington! The Nora V2.5 stem is designed with modern bike geometry and short offset forks in mind. Knowing we would need black magic to make anything shorter than 32mm fit a ø35 bar, we used this as our starting point and increased the stem length in 5mm increments from here. Meanwhile—these lengths match the fork offsets of 37mm and 42mm nicely. Most brands that offer bikes with modern geometry recommend running a stem as close to your fork offset as possible. We got straight to the point, taking the guessing out of the equation so you can maintain the best steering characteristics possible.

Machined Close to Home.
The Nora V2.5 is fully CNC-machined in Washington State from North American-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum. Making it here matters to us: not just where the finished part comes from, but the shop and people doing the work.
It’s also a part you see every time you get on the bike. The machined surfaces and clean lines are part of the finished design, with details worth looking at after you’ve finished dialing in your cockpit.
Stem Length and Fork Offset: A Starting Point, Not a Rule.
Why 32, 37 and 42 mm? We started with a short 32 mm stem and worked outward in 5 mm steps. The 37 and 42 mm options also line up with short fork offsets, giving riders who want to explore offset matching a place to start.
Two measurements, two different jobs. Stem length is measured between the steerer and handlebar clamp centers. It changes where the bar sits relative to the steering axis. Fork offset is the perpendicular distance between that axis and the front axle. Along with head angle and wheel size, it affects trail and the way the front wheel steers. Changing your stem does not change your fork offset or the bike’s geometric trail.
The matching theory. The idea is to choose a stem length close to your fork offset as a starting point for the relationship between your cockpit and front wheel. Offset matching stems and reduced-offset forks have been used together as part of modern bike geometry, but equal numbers aren’t a magic formula. Stem and fork measurements run in different directions, and your hands sit behind or ahead of the bar clamp depending on bar sweep and roll.
Your bike. Your call. You can run any stem length you want, provided it’s compatible with your setup and installed correctly. A 37 mm fork offset doesn’t require a 37 mm stem. Frame fit, bar shape, hand position and personal preference all matter. Try the theory if it interests you, or choose the length that feels best and go ride. There’s no prize for matching the numbers.
